If an old fishing village / harbor town is your thing, then Lahaina is the place for you. Down on Front Street you will find an eclectic mix of restaurants, art galleries, museums, T-shirt shops, and several places to wet your whistle. (don’t drink and drive, of course). See the famous Banyan tree – one of the largest in the world – right where the fishing boats are docked. Farther north are the resorts in Kanaapali and the coffee plantation in the foothills.
